Bindu is a physically disabled girl from Achham, a remote district in Western Nepal. She has 7 members in her family which include her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters who live in extreme poverty. Her father is in India and works as a labourer and doesn’t earn enough to support his family. She was brought to Trinetra Foundation with help from a friend of Kancha Gurung. She is in Grade 7 and goes to Belmont International School in Kathmandu. She is very good in her studies, plays amazing Sarangi (a Nepali version of the violin) and has a very sweet voice.
