MUSICMAN CONCERT

August 31, 2019
A crowd of 250 people came together along with Dolma Foundation & The Musicman Project to experience a musical concert by the special children of the Navjyoti Centre at The British School, Kathmandu. David Stanley the founder of The Musicman Project in his opening speech said “Tonight the performers are not special needs children, they are musicians!” which was proved by these students who only with a six-hour of practice showed the world how determination in oneself can do wonders in life. These performers consisted of children with Down syndrome, Autism, and other learning disabilities.

The presence of Guest of Honor for the programme H.E. Richard Morris, British Ambassador to Nepal and some eminent personality from the Nepalese Government and Non-Governmental sector made the evening a real fun and entertaining.

The programme was supported and hosted by Dolma Foundation and musical instruments brought from UK for the programme was later donated to the students of Navjyoti Centre by Musicman Project.
